About Me
Hello!
I grew up in the East Bay and I’ve been a bit of a nerd for reproductive health, reproductive rights, and birth for as long as I can remember.
I formally trained as an actor pre-pandemic, but a full time career in the arts didn’t feel sustainable. I began to feel called to support families, so I pursued nannying. I was lucky enough to connect with a lovely family with newborn twins, where I threw myself into the deep end and discovered the joys of learning alongside parents.

This was around the time I discovered that postpartum doulas existed. I had been planning on training to become a birth doula, but was overwhelmed at the realization of how overlooked and needed postpartum support is in our fast paced, productivity and individualism centered world.
Every birthing person deserves an affirming, safe, and supported fourth trimester. You deserve space to breathe, space to rest, space to heal. I believe in working towards a world where all new parents feel informed, empowered, and secure in their right to the birth and postpartum experience they want for themselves. I feel humbled to be able to play a small role in helping families find their footing together so that they can make the most of such a transformative and fleeting time in their lives.
Outside of my work as a doula, I love to cook and bake (and eat), read, perform in community productions of Shakespeare plays, watch too many movies, and hike with my wonderful fiancé and our dog Bootsie.

Why Should You Hire a Postpartum Birthworker?
Here are the ways we can help out...
Extra Set of Hands (Physical Support)
Need someone to help with a feeding or hold baby while you take a second to shower or breathe? Walk the dog? Cook dinner? Entertain a new big sibling? You don't have to be an octopus.
Open Mind
(Informational Support)
The world would probably look a bit different if newborns came with instruction manuals. I'm here to offer judgement free support and help you troubleshoot and research so you feel empowered to make informed, evidence based decisions that work for you and your family.
Listening Ear
(Emotional Support)
The global events of the last few years have presented a world of challenges for new parents, a shift that already presents plenty of curveballs and obstacles. You're not alone. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. It's okay to need (and even just want!) help. You are the best parent for your baby.
